Red Hook Duplex Gut and Remodel

This Red Hook Duplex is definitely an I & I Builder favorite! When this family of 4 purchased the duplex from the previous owner, they wanted to make sure their new home reflected their modern taste preferences and laid back style. After demo was done, we installed all new electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems to ensure that everything was up to code. We combined 2 smaller bathrooms upstairs to make 1 large bathroom for their children to share and enjoy! We added a guest half bath on the lower level, with the most stunning wallpaper print that is meant to impress! The existing stairs were too narrow and steep for their little ones, so we decided to relocate and build a brand new winding staircase that made running up and down safer, not to mention more fun!!   

The kitchen space was opened and the ceilings were extended higher, to create a more open space with the living area. We designed and built custom cabinetry to accommodate all their storage needs. We installed brand new wood flooring throughout that brought the many design elements together to create the most stunning new home!
